Oh, and another thing. . .

As you all know, I have been waiting patiently anxiously for the delivery of my new refrigerator and dishwasher. I just thought you might like to know that they have arrived. I had to wait the whole weekend after paying for them on Saturday for them to come this Monday! I was under the impression that I would be bringing my babies home on Saturday, so I was a bit unreasonable about the decision to have them delivered and the fridge set up by the delivery people, but I am so glad that I waited because my beautiful fridge was delivered and set up in all her pristine glory!

The dishwasher on the other had was to be installed by yours truly and the wonderful husband. We started at 8 PM and worked on it until nearly 2 AM Monday night. I know, we are crazy, but we kept at it and the dishwasher washed her maiden load tonight and did a smashing job of it. I didn’t know that dishes could actually be dry at the end of a cycle!

The beautiful refrigerator has been filled and is working wonderfully. It is exciting to see that the amount of food that was overflowing my old refrigerator makes this new baby look half empty! I am such a happy homemaker right now. It is ridiculous how giddy and schoolgirl happy I am about kitchen appliances. But then again, considering how much time I spend using my kitchen I suppose that it isn’t too silly.
