The great and fun part of having a little extra money is that I will get to do something with the kiddos over Spring Break! I am planning on kidnapping my friend Amanda and dragging her with me and my kids to Ft. Worth on the 20th of March. I will take the super lucky kids to the zoo and other (as yet unknown) activities. We will get a (nice) hotel room for the night and travel back home on the 21st.
The fun part for me (aside from all that quality time with my darling offspring) is that I will probably get to see my friend from high school, Michelle, who lives in Ft. Worth and I can meet my bloggy friend, Valerie. I am super excited to do this.
Where will the Hubby be during all of this? you might ask. He is taking the Young Men from church on an adventure to the Grand Canyon from Monday the 16th through Friday the 20th. So, we are going to do something fun also as opposed to sitting around the house going crazy all Spring Break.
Something that makes it a bit more special for my darling Princess is that the 20th of March is the day that she will turn 7 years old. The lucky duck. She is a major animal lover, so I just figure that the zoo is a perfect activity, and the Ft. Worth zoo is pretty darn awesome!
There you have it, the latest update on what is floating round my brain at the moment. Now go forth and do something more productive with your time! That's what I should do (Clean the kitchen, ugh!)

How fun, can't wait to meet you too!
You know I lived in AZ until I was 21 and never have been to the Grand Canyon. Maybe someday I will go...
Have fun, I can't believe my boy is turning 7 in March and my little princess is turning 9 on the 20th of March, I can't believe you went and had her on my girls birthday :) Just kidding I think it's cool.
Valerie, I have lived in Utah (for the most part) since I was 11 and haven't been to a single one of the national parks here, and Bryce Canyon is practically in my backyard!
