Today was Booth Bash Day here in our Girl Scout Council. That basically means that it is the only day that we can take out cookies from the cookie cupboard and return any cookies that we do not sell by 7 o'clock tonight. Any other time, if we get cookies out of the Cookie cupboard we HAVE to sell them, or pay for them ourselves. We totally overestimated how many cookies we needed (this is our first time selling cookies) and have finished our booth sales for today. Even though we overestimated, we sold approximately 165 boxes of cookies today! The girls had fun (at least at the 2nd location after lunch, the first location was from 10-12 and it was barely above 40 degrees!) and we are looking forward to several more sales through March. These West Texas girls (and their moms) don't handle being out in the 40 degree weather very well!

We are going to try to visit the bowling alley on Monday night and see if we can't get some more cookies sold. I am proud of my little Daisy Girl Scouts and I think that we are doing a GREAT job for this being our first time to sell. The Princess has sold a bit more than 200 boxes herself before this booth sale. Of course it helps when you have a totally awesome friend who lives in Japan and wants cookies bad enough to ask me to ship an entire case of Thin Mints to him!

Remember, we are going to have cookies through March and then they are gone until next year. Fill your freezers! If anyone around here needs some (or more)cookies, just call or email or run me down. Whatever it takes. We are having so much fun!

Also, just to let y'all know--The peanut butter used in Girl Scout Cookies is not from the company being investigated at this time.
