Off to see the Wizard

We are going to be taking the 2 oldest kids as well as a friend of the oldest kid to go see The Wizard of Oz at the community theater tomorrow night. I am so excited. This is the 2nd year in a row that we have purchased season tickets to the theater. I think it is such a good investment, especially when there are some shows we can actually take the kids to!

A friend of mine took her daughter to see the show last Sunday and I hear that there was some excitement. Apparently the pyrotechnics for the wicked witch smokes so much that they set of the smoke alarms and the theater had to be evacuated for 20 minutes! Hopefully the show tomorrow night is not quite THAT exciting!

Shaylee and I will be continuing with our cookie booth sale on Saturday. This time we will be there from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The rest of the weeks we will be out there from 2 to 6 so that will be easy to remember. All of the girls are doing so great and the cookies are flying off the table. We are getting close to being able to accomplish the goals that our troop has set for the money!

I wish we could afford season tickets to community theatre in our area, but the Utah Shakespearean Festival costs hundreds for season tickets, the other theatre festivals in the area aren't cheap either!
