Home Again

We made it back into town on Thursday night at about 10:30. It was a fun (whirlwind) trip! When we didn't hear any news one way or the other about Peter getting to teach summer school this year we assumed that he was not chosen. So, it was quite a surprise when his phone rang on Thursday while we were driving home and he was asked (at the last minute!) to teach a 6th grade reading class for summer school this year. We were thus glad that we stuck to the schedule and were on our way home since his first day was Friday. He's a bit nervous about 6th grade since he's a 1st grad teacher and has never done a grade above 3rd, but the extra money will help.

I don't have a lot of time right now to write so I will just let you know that I will be posting a bunch of pictures and stuff from the trip probably tomorrow. It's good to be home!
