Notice how it spread to that lovely spot above my elbow and it's changing to a nice shade of yellow.
We went to Safe Place (a shelter) as a Girl Scout troop to plant flowers tonight and I felt I needed to explain the bruise to anyone who noticed it so as not to have anyone thinking that my husband abuses me! No, not really, but that would be kind of funny!
And on that note, as I was walking to the area of the parking lot where we were gathering, I walked into a dip in the asphalt. This of course sent me on a collision course with the ground and I banged up my knees. My left hurts pretty bad to move, (i.e. walk) and was bleeding some. The right is not so bad. I will spare you the pictures--since I didn't take any!
On a MUCH cuter note, here are some pictures of Ashlee (aka The Bug) with her hand-made indonesian drum and her much beloved Dora sunglasses. She calls the drum baby, since it was the smallest of the drums at the Sam's Club "Bali Extravaganza" road show that I was working for the last 3 weeks. She played with it most of the days that she went to "work" with me, so on Monday (the last day) I bought it for her. She was so good when she had to go with me I had to reward her, right?
**My mistake, those are actually Shaylee's Littlest Pet Shop sunglasses. Ashlee is no respector of sunglasses

EEEWWW!You never did do well with needles. You might want to see a doc abt that knee - at least stay off it as much as you can. I know, I know, but this is a great reason to say no to stuff and not feel guily! I'm sure friends will help w/ the Bug (so cute BTW). You don't want to mess around w/ knee injuries.
